My name is Rhona Klopper (NEE: Davin) and I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in the capital of the beautiful Free State, Bloemfontein, in South Africa. I am married to a wonderful man, Enriko, and we have the most beautiful son, Caleb.
Born and raised in the Free State, I have a love for the landscape – the open fields and endless horizons make me feel a sense of pride and nostalgia. I strive to capture emotion, events, moments and all the little things that come together to make life beautiful and extraordinary.
Weddings truly are a celebration of life and I love to be a part of them! The day you have spent so much time preparing for, dreaming of and investing in will go by so quickly and that is one of the great reasons to invest in a wedding photographer who can tell the unique story of your day.
With weddings, my goal is always the same:
to capture the day purely, joyfully, and honestly.
It is never, ever lost on me what an honour it is to be considered by a couple to photograph them. I take great pride in telling the story of their day, from start to finish. From the biggest moments, to the smallest details. It’s no small deal to be asked to photograph your day and I aim to provide a fun and enjoyable experience from the first time we meet, right through to when I deliver your final collection of images.
Although I’m constantly focused on all the moments of your wedding, big and small, I’ll also be smiling and enjoying myself right alongside you. If you’re comfortable around me with this camera in your face, your photos will reflect that.
My personal goal is to preserve time: to gaze upon a moment and feel the raw emotions rising from within that image. I strive to offer a personal and friendly service, and to make you feel comfortable and happy. When you look back at your images years down the line I want you to relive the day through all of the little moments.
My vision for your photography session is to portray you, and your family, just as you are – to tell your story and create a living memory that can be treasured forever.
Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving.
What you have caught on film is captured forever…
It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
